As the subject implies, creating targetted email lists can be accomplished with ppv traffic with relative ease, and on the “cheap”. If you’ve been around the marketing world long enough, you can definitely appreciate the fact that having targetted lists to blast to every now and then can be financially beneficial.
Now when I use ppv traffic (trafficvance, media traffic, linksador, findology, zango etc) to build targetted optin email lists, I decide from the outset which of 2 ways I am going to market to them. 1) there is the friendly and concerned method, whereby I offer valuable PLR or content for them opting in, and follow up emails over the span of a week or 2 with an autoresponder whereby I soft sell recommended tools or books etc.. 2) I am simply bombarding the list with offers that are directly related to the optin or squeeze page that got me their info, and I will hammer them with emails 1-2 times a day for a week.
Obviously the unsubscribe rate is higher in the 2nd category, but its also the easier list to build as usually its a list that is created from a type of “teaser” page (ie: to see more explicit celeb images enter your email, they will be delivered to your inbox instantly”). This type of list can be served many different offers, ones surrounding dating offers/cam sites etc.
I am not going to go into much more depth on the 2 methods for email captures that I am using, as they are the fundamentals of how you approach the ppv to email traffic and you can play with the method, expand, originalize etc..
Setting this all up is fairly easy… When you think about it, there are thousands if not millions of targets in the PPV world that you can bid on and get traffic for next to nothing. My favorite tools for creating quick, easy and cheap ppv campaigns to build lists are: 1) quantcast.com 2) visual web spider 3) keyword elite 2.0 4) interspire email marketer and last but not least 5) Xsite Pro 2
Ok… So maybe building these lists DOES come at a cost, but remember the tools I recommend here are simply the ones I use.. I’ve definitely seen and heard tell of guys using similar “free” tools, warez versions of them etc etc… The bottom line is, if you are looking to take this serious, the cost of those tools will be recouped in short order once you get the method in place and get moving with it.
Go take a look at each link, understand the dynamics of each application and how its going to fit into your PPV to Email marketing campaigns (and list building). If you can find other tools to substitute, by all means go ahead. The key here is taking action with the extremely large amount of NON competitive URL’s out there in the PPV world.
