Wow.. been a while.. I guess I am about as reliable with updating the marketing site I own, as I am with raking the fall leaves… It’s good in a lot of ways though, that I am not here cluttering up the airwaves with a bunch of fluff. I have been in serious development and taken the marketing online thing to a new level. I enjoy the work so much, mostly cuz of the side perks it offers

Anyhoo.. What is new, and what is hot in the affiliate marketing space? Well a lot. There are SOOO many ways to monetize these days, I am going to mention a few that I use, and recommend a few solid concepts. You can be a beginner, advanced, or anywhere in between. I hope to be able to keep the majority half ass interested.

1) PPV – Yes, I know, ppv.. Boring you say, overly competitive and shitty traffic. Well.. if you think this, then move along to #2. If you are reading still, then trust me when I say, PPV is still as strong or stronger then it was when I got into it. The main networks I am currently monetizing, and doing well with are a) Trafficvance b)Lead Impact *zango* c)Media Traffic and d)Direct CPV

Although I dont do a lot with C and D, I am spending a fair amount on A and B.. If you need a Tvance reference, lemme know Ill see what I can do for you. They require a $1000 deposit, but if you cannot make that back within a week max, I dont think PPV or maybe even marketing online is a good call for you. Lead Impact is a little bit different, but you can bank big off them as well and deposits are just 100$ min.

Well thats my update for today, Im tired and it’s late, will definitely be back to revive this poor little blog that has lost its direction. Feel free to leave comments if youd like a topic brought up in PPV!

cheers

Well.. I guess I need not go too into depth when I can already point to a successful affiliate who has done pretty much what I would do.. Release a true review of one of today’s most essential cpv tools, with the understanding that there are pretty big additions coming this weekend for the tool, and the full review will be complete then. There really isn’t a better way to see how effective your cpv and ppv campaigns can be, then by testing them, retesting, and then split testing the top performing landers etc. The tools and statistical analysis inside CPV Lab are immense. They will not only make your “break even” cpv campaigns profitable, but they will also bring the dead ones back to life. If you are anything like me, you would be using just prosper to track in and outgoing hits. You are missing the chance to track email optin rates, percentages, costs and then follow up CTR’s etc. You would only be able to rotate with a “custom” rotating script and more. CPV Lab on the other hand, does it all. CPV lab review time, and I am going to give this tool a solid 9 out of 10 myself, as it’s one that I personally use, and would recommend to anyone serious about their ppv campaigns.

Check this out – the true CPV Lab Review that is over at freddybeach. Discount on CPV Lab? You have to be kidding me. There’s no way this should be in the hands of too many as it is, it’s just that powerful. If I had it my way, this cpv tool would be far more expensive!

CPV networks are gaining immense popularity as of late, and unfortunately because of it, competition is increasing. Mediatraffic is an interesting network that has grown it’s userbase out pretty steadily over the past few years, and the amount of advertisers isn’t as large as on other networks. Either way, with any advantage you can give yourself, you are going to be a helluva lot better off. Maintaining a #1 position for a valuable target has a lot to do with this, which is the reason I am constantly updating bids on Media Traffic. The offers that work over there are more “ringtone”, “credit” and “loan” or “scolarship” driven, so with that brings a lot of competition on those urls and terms.

Having always had a “semi-functioning” bot to help me keep up with the bidding, I decided to invest some time, energy and money in a more robust bidding tool, one that scrapes your entire active campaign list, grabs the url target pages, and keeps the targets you want, at #1. This is a pretty powerful tool, and with it, comes a warning. BEWARE that this bot does NOT have a max limit for bidding built in, so if someone jacks their bids up on you and you aren’t checking in on it once and a while, you could spend more then you want. It’s not a 100% fully automated bot like the trafficvance bot over at ppvdomination.com, but it does a helluva job saving time with repetitive page loads.

If you are interested in the bot, go check it out. Media Traffic isn’t a bad network, with low impression costs, and average competition, it’s seriously easy to find a few super high ROI campaigns with a little effort. Keep on top of it all with the Mediatraffic Bid Automation Tool!

Vance Ad eh.. Well, if Im doing a review on this blog, unfortunately it’s not always going to be a good review. This time, I get the “treatment” from a dude named Dave Behnk. How guys slither out from under rocks and run these dime a dozen cpa networks is beyond me, but I guarantee I will direct my hard earned traffic elsewhere when I get treated like a piece of dogshit.

Now, on to my review of Vance Ads… Hahha notta chance I’d have a nice thing to say after the chat I had with this snake. At first, when I applied to the network (from being plugged at offervault.com) I assumed they would be a fair and decent place to check out. Cpa networks seem to be all over the place these days, with many of the same offers.. Only differences are payouts, support, and backends. Well VanceAds or whatever the hell they are called, use the ever so generic “hasoffers” cpa engine to power their cpa network, a far cry from a professional network and the 1st clue as to what they were about.

Upon signing up to Vance Ads, I was approved to promote offers within 24 hrs. It wasn’t long before I began to see the same offers, with less of a payout *usually by 7-10%*. A solid benchmark for me to compare CPA networks to, is EWA or Eagle Web Assets. These guys are who I send the majority of my CPA traffic to, their payouts and support are top shelf. (Ryan, Victor, Omar and the rest really go above most other networks, cuz they LOVE money). Anyhoooo, back to Vance Ads. – Who in their right mind would promote offers for LESS money, deal with the “has offers” backend, and deal with Affiliate Managers like Dave Behnk? I imagine anyone who they deem “ELITE” enough to be in their company.

Saturday morning I was feeding my kids, checking stats, and basically just keeping up with things. I noticed most all networks that were carrying the “Acai Leanspa” offer had all lost it at the same time. Of the few that still had it, Vance Ads was one. I had been working on a lot of keyword combinations revolving around Leanspa and Leanspa derivatives that were getting decent search volume, and saw an increase in Search traffic. I swapped out my prosper links to the Vance Ads links, sending them my Lean Spa traffic. Turns out, their offer went dead 24 hrs later as well, but they neglected to update their affiliates, and offervault even showed them as having the offer live. From here, I decided to approach or reach out to my “affiliate manager” , Dave. We had not had ONE convo up to this point, and check out the professionalism of this guy.. Here is a link to the actual conversation, word for word we had in AIM. Vance Ads aim Chat

Trust me, Vance Ads is just another donkey-ran CPA network and I highly suggest you all spare yourself some headache and money and avoid em like the plague.. This might be a harsh review, but hey, I’m allowed to have an opinion aren’t I?

If you are looking for a great CPA network to join up with, Hit up the guys over at EWA (Eagle Web Assets)

Cheers, good luck

**UPDATE** I just got off AIM with the previous CO-OWNER and suggested a few new designs and layouts for the ppv optimizer site.. Go take a look, you might like the fast load time and clean look – ppv optimizer dot com

Well. I am retracting all the previous things I said about ppv optimizer, and my extremely fair ppvoptimizer review from a few weeks back. The app, I used for weeks, and had no real problem with it.. It did what I needed to do, and yes, it did require a lot of tweaking. For me as a beta tester and being in on the initial plan for the ppv bot, I donated a lot of time, experience in ppv and in fact paid full price. Not to mention referred sales to them, and didn;t get any compensation whatsoever.

PPV Optimizer has had some clashes with marketers all over the web, and my story here is nothing new to the people in the “know” but I had to retract all of what I said previously, simply because of one guy, named Erkan.

This dude single handedly took a good concept and ran it into the ground like no other person could.. Congrats Erkan, you are a solid businessman, and I’m sure if your this jaded over the way things are going in your life, then it’s not looking much better in your direct future. For those who may not have noticed, JonVan Clute has a pretty detailed back and forth with his dealings with PPV Optimizer guys, over at his blog – Read what he has to say, his experiences and ppv optimizer review .

Just for the record, this is what I saw when I saw my little weak desktop app of a trafficvance bud adjuster bot open earlier this morning:

Hey Erkan Its Not Working

PS: Stay tuned for a full in-depth review of a NEW and nearly completed PPV bot that is web based and incorporates 4 or 5 of the major CPV networks. I have a demo invite to test this, and it is based on the same concept, just a cleaner web version of ppv optimization

We will see what the guys at ppv domination have in store.. stay tuned!

Now when I use ppv traffic (trafficvance, media traffic, linksador, findology, zango etc) to build targetted optin email lists, I decide from the outset which of 2 ways I am going to market to them. 1) there is the friendly and concerned method, whereby I offer valuable PLR or content for them opting in, and follow up emails over the span of a week or 2 with an autoresponder whereby I soft sell recommended tools or books etc.. 2) I am simply bombarding the list with offers that are directly related to the optin or squeeze page that got me their info, and I will hammer them with emails 1-2 times a day for a week.

Obviously the unsubscribe rate is higher in the 2nd category, but its also the easier list to build as usually its a list that is created from a type of “teaser” page (ie: to see more explicit celeb images enter your email, they will be delivered to your inbox instantly”). This type of list can be served many different offers, ones surrounding dating offers/cam sites etc.

I am not going to go into much more depth on the 2 methods for email captures that I am using, as they are the fundamentals of how you approach the ppv to email traffic and you can play with the method, expand, originalize etc..

Setting this all up is fairly easy… When you think about it, there are thousands if not millions of targets in the PPV world that you can bid on and get traffic for next to nothing. My favorite tools for creating quick, easy and cheap ppv campaigns to build lists are: 1) quantcast.com 2) visual web spider 3) keyword elite 2.0 4) interspire email marketer and last but not least 5) Xsite Pro 2

Ok… So maybe building these lists DOES come at a cost, but remember the tools I recommend here are simply the ones I use.. I’ve definitely seen and heard tell of guys using similar “free” tools, warez versions of them etc etc… The bottom line is, if you are looking to take this serious, the cost of those tools will be recouped in short order once you get the method in place and get moving with it.

Go take a look at each link, understand the dynamics of each application and how its going to fit into your PPV to Email marketing campaigns (and list building). If you can find other tools to substitute, by all means go ahead. The key here is taking action with the extremely large amount of NON competitive URL’s out there in the PPV world.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ THIS POST, I HAVE HAD A BAD RUN-IN WITH ERKAN THE OWNER WHO DECIDED TO CUT ME OFF FROM HIS BOT, BECAUSE HE IS JADED THAT I OFFERED SUGGESTIONS FOR A MUCH MORE ROBUST BOT, AND HE COULDN’T ACCEPT COMPETITION.. WELL I FOR ONE LOVE COMPEITION, SO GET SET FOR THE NEW TOOL WHICH I WILL POST ABOUT IN THE COMING DAYS, AS WE TEST IT NOW IN BETA!!!
HERES THE TRUTH ABOUT ERKAN and PPV OPTIMIZER

Recently came out and I am one of the first/original users to play and test it.. Just before ppv optimizer, all I had what was basically a very simple bot, that could outbid competitors on Traffic Vance. The method was far from sound though, as I was essentially using Imacros to open up my target optimization page, then I would select ALL the creatives targets and then OUTBID.. This would outbid the competitor(s) on Traffic Vance by .005 instead of the allowed minimum of .001.

PPV Optimizer opened the door to being able to outbid not only by .001, but also, “optimize your ppv bids” to get you the position you wanted, and NOT go over a max bid. This essentially allowed you to choose a particular target, set a max bid and what rank you wanted to achieve. If competitors were outbidding you, the bot would always ensure you didn’t surpass your max allotted bid. As a bonus to keep a tight reign on ppv spending, the ppv optimizer bot would ensure if competition dropped their bids on targets, then so would you! This would save you having to “manually” check where #2 position is/was. If you are a big user of Traffic Vance, then you know pretty much what Im talking about. That is a serious pain in the ass.

I am going to throw just 3 screenshots of PPVOptmizer up here so you can see what it looks like currently *there is a newer revision almost ready, 2.0 and I will be posting here as soon as I get my hands on it*… But in the meantime this might give you an idea of how the app runs. I have spent in excess of 60k this year with traffic vance alone, so YES I am qualified to make comments on how automation CAN make things easier and more profitable.

John, Erkan Tony have all spent a lot of time supporting this app as it has gone thorough revisions, and as far as I am concerned, they aim to improve this app for each end user. In the beginning, there were just a handful of us involved in the “planning” or the discussions of the app, but that has since grown and I feel personally they have still aimed to add features and functions that are important to PPV users at Traffic Vance.

Simple shot of ppvoptimizer working to update all bids

Having had a sneak peak at PPV Optimizer 2.0, I can now say I am more stoked then ever to really strech into the other PPV ad networks more. I have a decent amount of Media Traffic expereince along with findology, directcpv.com and now even a new network — linksador.com. Seeing these PPV Networks added to PPV Optimizer will be a refreshing change of pace for me, as I will now be able to truly “scale” my ppv marketing efforts. Take the guys up on their well supported app, don’t let the skeptics turn u away. Overall, I give this app a definite 8.0/10 and recommend it to anyone who does a lot of traffic buying from the major ppv networks. See it now at PPV Optimizer

Even with automating bids using this great app, there is a LOT of dirty background work (if you do a lot of ppv) and there is NO replacing another bot that I recommend highly.. Check out my post on Ubot Studio. These guys have created an incredibly intuitive programming tool for “non programmers”. This, coupled with ppv optimizer saves a ton of time and money in the CPV world!

UBot studio are quickly becoming a powerful force in the affiliate marketing tool arsenal. Recently I took the plunge and purchased the very reasonably priced application, and so far have been very happy with the results. This isn’t a click and go application, but better then that, it has pretty much unlimited possibilities. Ubot is a very user friendly bot with an intuitive and user friendly interface. The developpers of this automation software created a software that made creating bots, more of a visual thing, for internet marketers. What this means, is the average joe can open the app, follow along with the supplied pdf and be programming their OWN bots within minutes. I preferred to opt to open an exisiting bot that was included, to get a better sense of how calls, routines, sub routines and loops were all put together.

More often then not, marketers like me find themselves doing routine things over the course of the day. Ubot is a crafty solution to save you money on outsourced workers, time management and ridiculous carpel tunnel. Seriously though.. Having a bot (UBOT) which takes less then an hour to create and saves you 5-10 hours a week of your own or outsourced work is a no brainer. Couple that with the ability to compile your automation project to an exe file (which you can share, sell or trade) and you are well on your way to creating a faster path to wealth.. My favorite idea which I am about to try, is create handy account creator exe’s and actually give them out, simply for confirmed email addresses. This will definitely add value to marketers days as well as give a good idea as to what is possible with Ubot. Check out the UBOT studios site today to get an even clearer idea of what is possible with this great automation software.

TrafficVance.com has fast become the main ppv network for affiliate marketers around the world. Have you got an extra 1000$ kicking around? Have you tried PPV or Contextual advertising yet?

If not, this might be the time to try it, before competition eats up the fun. I’ve been advertising with TraficVance for just about a year now, and their popularity has reared it’s ugly head when it comes to my ever-shrinking ROI’s on a monthly basis.. Still a far better cost then ol Adwords and other ppc companies.

If you want to test the waters on strange niches, and urls, there are actually a ton of untapped and uncovered ground. I learned PPV by going after the popular url’s and keywords, and yes these are expensive much like ppc. With some crafty research, use of Alexa, Quantcast and others, you can devise some pretty slick campaigns and at least slap together a squeeze page and capture emails for your next mail campaign*s*.

There’s soo many ways to go with traffic vance I just wanted to post an intro here tonight to get a topic created, and a category ready for tips, pointers and things you can try in the PPV/Contextual realm.
