Wow.. been a while.. I guess I am about as reliable with updating the marketing site I own, as I am with raking the fall leaves… It’s good in a lot of ways though, that I am not here cluttering up the airwaves with a bunch of fluff. I have been in serious development and taken the marketing online thing to a new level. I enjoy the work so much, mostly cuz of the side perks it offers

Anyhoo.. What is new, and what is hot in the affiliate marketing space? Well a lot. There are SOOO many ways to monetize these days, I am going to mention a few that I use, and recommend a few solid concepts. You can be a beginner, advanced, or anywhere in between. I hope to be able to keep the majority half ass interested.

1) PPV – Yes, I know, ppv.. Boring you say, overly competitive and shitty traffic. Well.. if you think this, then move along to #2. If you are reading still, then trust me when I say, PPV is still as strong or stronger then it was when I got into it. The main networks I am currently monetizing, and doing well with are a) Trafficvance b)Lead Impact *zango* c)Media Traffic and d)Direct CPV

Although I dont do a lot with C and D, I am spending a fair amount on A and B.. If you need a Tvance reference, lemme know Ill see what I can do for you. They require a $1000 deposit, but if you cannot make that back within a week max, I dont think PPV or maybe even marketing online is a good call for you. Lead Impact is a little bit different, but you can bank big off them as well and deposits are just 100$ min.

Well thats my update for today, Im tired and it’s late, will definitely be back to revive this poor little blog that has lost its direction. Feel free to leave comments if youd like a topic brought up in PPV!

cheers

As the subject implies, creating targetted email lists can be accomplished with ppv traffic with relative ease, and on the “cheap”. If you’ve been around the marketing world long enough, you can definitely appreciate the fact that having targetted lists to blast to every now and then can be financially beneficial.

Now when I use ppv traffic (trafficvance, media traffic, linksador, findology, zango etc) to build targetted optin email lists, I decide from the outset which of 2 ways I am going to market to them. 1) there is the friendly and concerned method, whereby I offer valuable PLR or content for them opting in, and follow up emails over the span of a week or 2 with an autoresponder whereby I soft sell recommended tools or books etc.. 2) I am simply bombarding the list with offers that are directly related to the optin or squeeze page that got me their info, and I will hammer them with emails 1-2 times a day for a week.

Obviously the unsubscribe rate is higher in the 2nd category, but its also the easier list to build as usually its a list that is created from a type of “teaser” page (ie: to see more explicit celeb images enter your email, they will be delivered to your inbox instantly”). This type of list can be served many different offers, ones surrounding dating offers/cam sites etc.

I am not going to go into much more depth on the 2 methods for email captures that I am using, as they are the fundamentals of how you approach the ppv to email traffic and you can play with the method, expand, originalize etc..

Setting this all up is fairly easy… When you think about it, there are thousands if not millions of targets in the PPV world that you can bid on and get traffic for next to nothing. My favorite tools for creating quick, easy and cheap ppv campaigns to build lists are: 1) quantcast.com 2) visual web spider 3) keyword elite 2.0 4) interspire email marketer and last but not least 5) Xsite Pro 2

Ok… So maybe building these lists DOES come at a cost, but remember the tools I recommend here are simply the ones I use.. I’ve definitely seen and heard tell of guys using similar “free” tools, warez versions of them etc etc… The bottom line is, if you are looking to take this serious, the cost of those tools will be recouped in short order once you get the method in place and get moving with it.

Go take a look at each link, understand the dynamics of each application and how its going to fit into your PPV to Email marketing campaigns (and list building). If you can find other tools to substitute, by all means go ahead. The key here is taking action with the extremely large amount of NON competitive URL’s out there in the PPV world.

TrafficVance.com has fast become the main ppv network for affiliate marketers around the world. Have you got an extra 1000$ kicking around? Have you tried PPV or Contextual advertising yet?

If not, this might be the time to try it, before competition eats up the fun. I’ve been advertising with TraficVance for just about a year now, and their popularity has reared it’s ugly head when it comes to my ever-shrinking ROI’s on a monthly basis.. Still a far better cost then ol Adwords and other ppc companies.

If you want to test the waters on strange niches, and urls, there are actually a ton of untapped and uncovered ground. I learned PPV by going after the popular url’s and keywords, and yes these are expensive much like ppc. With some crafty research, use of Alexa, Quantcast and others, you can devise some pretty slick campaigns and at least slap together a squeeze page and capture emails for your next mail campaign*s*.

There’s soo many ways to go with traffic vance I just wanted to post an intro here tonight to get a topic created, and a category ready for tips, pointers and things you can try in the PPV/Contextual realm.
